Rightslink
In partnership with the Copyright Clearance Center, Oxford Journals have recently introduced a tailored version of the Rightslink online permissions service, designed to provide a faster, more efficient way for customers to secure permission to reuse content for the majority of our 180+ Journals.
Using the Rightslink system is a simple process. Once you have located your desired content on our site you simply need to click on the “Request Permission” tab on the journals contents page
Once you have clicked on this link the Rightslink service will launch. This initial page allows you to begin specifying your intended reuse, and makes it possible for you to obtain a preliminary quote for your reuse.
When you have specified the material and the form of reuse you wish to make, you will be invited to set up an account or login to an existing account, containing all necessary contact and billing information. Once Rightslink have all necessary contact and billing information you will finally be asked for some additional details of specific request before your order is logged.
Once you have accepted the terms and conditions of reuse, you will either be charged directly through your credit card or an invoice will be sent out. At the same time an email confirming your permission and listing the restrictions of the permission will be sent to you. When payment has been made you are free to proceed with your intended reuse.
For questions about using the Rightslink service, please contact Customer Support via phone (001) 877 622 5543 (toll free) or (001) 978 777 9929, or email Rightslink customer care: [email protected].
