On the cover: Endomysial capillary vascular destruction, with neutrophilic infiltration, nuclear fragmentation, and microhemorrhage in a biceps biopsy. Marked endothelial cell atypia in adjacent capillaries and a prominent inflammatory cell infiltrate in endomysium. Inset, Electron microscopy demonstrates marked endomysial capillary damage in a biceps biopsy. Intranuclear viral inclusions were identified, with a loose crystalloid arrangement. Viral particles are spherical with a core of medium density, and measure 36-44 nm in diameter (See Mishra et al, pp. 1595-9).
