On the cover: Genetic repression of the heat-shock protein 90 (Hsp90) abolishes virulence of Aspergillus fumigatus. At day 7 post-infection, lung sections (gomori methenamine silver stain) of mice infected by the akuBKU80 (wild-type) strain show extensive hyphal proliferation (top), while no invasion is observed in mice infected by the pthiA-Hsp90 (Hsp90 repression) strain (bottom) (see Lamoth et al, pp 473-81).
