Pelak et al (J Infect Dis 2010;201(8):1141–1149)

In the 15 April 2010 issue of the Journal, in the article by Pelak et al (Pelak K, Goldstein DB, Walley NM, et al. Host determinants of HIV-1 control in African Americans. J Infect Dis 2010;201(8):1141–1149), the bars in Figure 1A and Figure 1B are labeled incorrectly. According to dbSNP, C is the minor allele for rs2523608, and therefore the bars, from left to right, should be labeled TT, CT, and CC, respectively [not CC, CT, and TT]. The manuscript text and conclusions are correct as published. The authors regret these errors.
