Abstract
This review essay considers Elizabeth Bruch’s new work, Human Rights and Humanitarian Intervention: Law and Practice in the Field. It notes the significance of Bruch’s practice-based focus, methodological approach, and ability to blend descriptive and critical accounts of the emergent use of human rights as a means of global governance in post-intervention spaces.
