BEST ARTICLE AWARD

All articles published in 2019 were considered for this award. The Policy Board selects the winner based on nominations provided by JCR’s Associate Editors and Editorial Review Board.

The winners of this year’s Best Article Award are Chiara Longoni, Andrea Bonezzi, and Carey K. Morewedge for their article “Resistance to Medical Artificial Intelligence,” which appeared in the December 2019 issue.

Longoni is Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Her research specializes in issues related to medical decision making, sustainability in consumer and firm behavior, and messaging to promote consumer and societal well-being. Bonezzi is Associate Professor of Marketing in the Stern School of Business at New York University. His research focuses on judgment and decision making, with a particular interest in understanding the motivational forces that drive social transmission of information and receptivity to artificial intelligence. Morewedge is Everett W. Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar and Professor of Marketing in the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. He researches how high-level cognitive processes such as memory, attention, and mental imagery influence consequential human judgments and decisions.
