Abstract
The binding capacity of thyroxine-binding globulin (TBG) has been measured in 60 members of a kindred. The data strongly suggest X-linked inheritance of the trait for elevated TBG binding capacity. The results of blood grouping tests indicate that the X-linked Xg locus is not closely linked to the locus for increased TBG capacity.
