katerina bantinaki received her Ph.D. from the University of London and worked at the University of Manchester before moving to the University of Crete, where she is currently Lecturer in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art. Her research interests lie predominantly in the philosophy of the visual arts, particularly in issues relevant to the perception, interpretation, and appreciation of artworks. She is coeditor of Philosophical Perspectives on Depiction (Oxford University Press, 2010).
craig derksen has a B.A. from the University of Manitoba and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. He currently teaches at the University of Victoria and Camosun College. His publications and interests include aesthetics, epistemology, and popular culture. He likes working with Darren Hudson Hick.
darren hudson hick is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Susquehanna University. His research focuses on philosophical problems in intellectual property, ontology of art, and the intersection of arts and rights. He is the author of Introducing Aesthetics and the Philosophy of Art (Continuum, 2012) and has collaborated with Craig Derksen on a number of projects.
