Abstract
Employee assistance programs, hailed as a possible focus for social work in the corporate environment, can provide significant services to employees in health care settings as well. This description of one hospital's employee assistance program illustrates the marketing of social work services for the program and the issues arising out of interdepartmental collaboration and competition.
