Abstract
Corrosive stricture of esophagus and stomach is more common in Acid poisoning. Management these cases requires good surgical planning, technical expertise in doing these complex procedures
A34 year gentleman consumed small quantity of sulphuric acid. Feeding jejunostomy was done for improving the nutrition. After 9 months of initial insult Upper GI scopy and CT NECK, CHEST, ABDOMEN was done which confirmed complete esophageal stricture from cricopharyx, thickened entire stomach.
We Did LAPAROSCOPIC PHARYNGO-COLOPLASTY WITH RIGHT COLON. Intraoperatively thickened stomach, total gastrectomy done, Right colon used for Coloplasty.Post procedure patient recovered well, Drins removed on 4th post op day, patient was discharged on 6 th day.
