The 2025 CJRES Conference
The annual Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society conference will be held on 17-18 July 2025, at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, UK. The theme is ‘The Climate Crisis: making cities resilient’. Those interested at presenting a paper at the conference are encouraged to submit their abstracts by 1 April, 2025.

The Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society is accepting papers on the topic of progressive and forward-looking views of development with a focus on regional and geographical aspects.

Firm Strategies and Regional Development
The Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society is accepting submissions that examine how firm-level actors respond to and are influenced by state-induced geopolitical and geo-economic instability, and how their various strategic responses reshape subnational/local development.
