In the original publication of this manuscript [Liu K, Song S, Zhu G et al. Population Movement, City Closure in Wuhan, and Geographical Expansion of the COVID-19 Infection in China in January 2020. Clin Infect Dis; 71(16): 2045–2051. https://doi.org/10.1093/cid/ciaa422], the first sentence of the second paragraph states ‘As of 31 January 2020, the infection has been transmitted to all of the provinces in China and a few other countries.’
To preserve clarity, the authors have requested that the sentence be changed to ‘As of 31 January 2020, infection cases have been reported in all of the provinces in China and a few other countries.’ This has been updated in the version currently available online.
