An error appeared in the 15 February 2007 issue of the journal [Voetsch AC, Angulo FJ, Jones TF, Moore MR, Nadon C, McCarthy P, et al. Reduction in the incidence of invasive listeriosis in foodborne diseases active surveillance network sites, 1996–2003. Clin Infect Dis 2007; 44:513–20.]. The scale for Figure 2 indicated that rates were presented per million population, but rates of pregnancy-associated listeriosis per 100 000 population were plotted. The corrected figure is reproduced below.

The overall incidence of listeriosis and specific incidence of nonpregnancy-associated listeriosis in patients <50 years old and patients ≥50 years old are calculated as number of cases per 1 million population and indicated on the left Y axis in black. The incidence of pregnancy-associated listeriosis, which is 10-fold higher, is calculated as number of cases per 100000 population and indicated on the right Y axis in light grey.
The authors regret this error.
