Abstract
In this paper, new sufficient conditions for the stability of Receding Horizon Control strategy [RHC] are proposed. Two versions of this strategy are considered. The first deals with finite horizon cost and a final constraint on the state vector. The second is defined with an infinite horizon cost with a restriction on the command vector to a finite dimensional space. The whole context in which the problem is defined is that of both regulation and tracking control based on a reference model.
