Abstract
This book is organized in two parts. The first part (Chapters l–4) deals with the circuit modelling of muiticonductor waveguides. The second part (Chapters 5–9) deals with the fullwave electromagnetic modelling of some particular subclasses of these waveguides. The present chapter starts with a short general introduction to both problems and is followed by a much more extensive introduction to the circuit modelling problem. An extensive introduction to the electromagnetic field problems treated in this book is given in Chapter 5.
