Abstract
This latest volume in the series of titles on the history of universities contains a mix of learned chapters and book reviews. Topics covered in this volume include student violence in thirteenth- and fourteenth-century Oxford, Jan Brozek, seventeenth-centiry medicine, the evacuation of London colleges to Cambridge during World War II, and general education in post-war Netherlands. There are also reviews on books about Peregrine Horden and John Henry Newman.
