Abstract
Chapter 3 discusses the health effects of binge eating and purging, including bone loss, stopping of menstruation, arrhythmias, tooth decay, constipation, dehydration, kidney damage, diabetes, obesity, and associated effects of the disorders on daily life, relationships, and mental health.
