Actions of the ASHP Board of Directors — Meeting of November 18, 2020

This meeting of the Board of Directors was held virtually. The following members of the Board were present: Thomas J. Johnson, Chair; Linda S. Tyler, Vice Chair; Kathleen S. Pawlicki; Christene M. Jolowsky; Leigh A. Briscoe-Dwyer; Kristina L. Butler; Julie A. Groppi; Nishaminy Kasbekar; Jamie S. Sinclair; Paul C. Walker; Casey H. White; and Paul W. Abramowitz, Chief Executive Officer. Also present were Kimberly W. Benner, Board Member Elect; Pamela K. Phelps, Board Member Elect; and various ASHP staff members.

The following is a summary of actions taken by the Board:

• Ratified the November 16, 2020, ballot approval of the ASHP Guidelines on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the Formulary System.

340B Litigation

• Approved ASHP joining as a plaintiff in 340B-related litigation against the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Other Actions

The Board also met in executive session to discuss various confidential matters, including disclosure statements regarding potential conflicts of interest.

The next meeting of the Board will be held virtually on January 28–29, 2021.
